Godara (clan) : ウィキペディア英語版
Godara clan

Godara is a clan or gotra of Jats and Bishnois found in Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi in India. Many have also migrated to Western regions such as Gujarat or Pakistan. They are the descendants of Goha Dutta, a prince of the Mewar dynasty who was adopted by a Brahmin to fight against the Mohala Rajputs and his descendants come to be called Godara. Godara were the rulers in Jangladesh. They also controlled large areas of formerly princely state of Bikaner but later Rathores came and defeat all jat tribes around them and different communities and established their rule. Chieftains of Shekhsar and Radanvan belong to this gotra. The Muslim Godaras in the Indian Punjab mostly migrated to large areas in the Multan, Lodhran and Bahawalpur districts in Pakistan in the 1950s. They currently reside in shri dungargadh and nokha of bikaner and also in nalwa village of jhunjhunu.
